Following pursuit of Dallas Youth Cricket Leagues annual Independence Cup, NTCA decided to inaugurate their own tournament…Texas Cup. Bringing teams from all over the Texas Region, this provided high standards and created a clinical atmosphere for players to bring out the best of themselves. Many High-Level coaches took part in making this tournament a big success. Their individual reputation expanded the cup.
Divided into 3 categories, U-11, U-13, and U-16, teams were brought for each age group. NTCA had also sent their teams in a respectable format. They selected players who had participated in the league before, referring to their statistics.
Teams that participated:
U-11:
DYCL-FCCA U11(Dallas Youth Cricket league – Frisco Cricket Club Association)
HCCA U11
NTCA U11 Cowboys(North Texas Cricket Association)
NTCA U11 Mavericks(North Texas Cricket Association)
The winners of the U11 finals were the Cowboys, cruising past the Mavericks in a Clash of the Titans game. Many players were moved by result, causing emotional waves across the field.
Filtered, the victors were joyous chanting Cowboys in team spirit!
U13:
DYCL – FCCA U13
HCCA U-13
NTCA U13 Avengers
NTCA U13 Smashers
The winners of the U13 finals were the Avengers, knocking over the DYCL-FCCA players. A fairly one-sided match, The Avengers took over, knocking down wicket after wicket! They didn’t give a chance for DYCL-FCCA to recover, letting the onslaught continue. When the Avengers came to bat in the second innings, they absolutely demolished and destroyed the bowling attack. Breaking free, the glee just showed how important a finals win is to any team.
U16:
DYCL – FCCA U16
NTCA U16 Bolts
Only consisting of 2 teams, the better side had a chance to prove that they are the best! The winners of the U16 finals were the Bolts! They won all the games that they played. In a team v team, the talent will show through, the strength will show through, and the will to work hard, together, and selflessly will always be seen by others. This is what we saw in the U16 tournament series.
This tournament was a great success, with much variety, vigor, and enjoyment!
We all hope to see this tournament again next year!

Fourteen-year-old Ishaan Thakur and his sister, 9-year-old Aanya, spent their summer building a lucrative business mining cryptocurrency.
“We started because we wanted to learn something new about technology – and also make some money along the way,” Ishaan tells CNBC Make It. And they have.
Each month, the siblings make over $30,000 mining three digital coins: Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market value; ether, the second-largest; and ravencoin, an altcoin amid the top 100, Ishaan says.
To do this, Ishaan and Aanya, who are based in Frisco, Texas, had to learn how to mine, which is no simple feat. When mining to earn cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ether, complex computers are programmed to compete to solve difficult puzzles in order to validate transactions.
“Crypto mining is just like mining for gold or diamonds,” Ishaan says. “Instead of using shovels, you mine with computers. Instead of finding a piece of gold or a diamond in the mine, you find a cryptocurrency.”
After watching videos on YouTube and searching the internet, Ishaan converted his Alienware, a popular kind of gaming computer, into an ether mining rig in April. (He did this by using the graphics card, which can perform a high volume of calculations for mining.)
When Ramesh’s son was asking his father to buy a house last year, he never thought as he is on H1 and does not know when he needs to go back to India. He Never thought that pandemic will stay here for a year and make life miserable for his family in a small 2-bedroom apartment. This makes him take a big move and buy his own house. Now, He bought a house whose monthly installment is like the rent he was paying earlier, and add to that, he now has ample space for his family. His kids have a backyard to play when they put a stop to a long day of virtual schooling as well.
My friend, Lokesh was always trying to search the house in proximity to his office to avoid the everyday driving misery in Dallas traffic, however, the remote working, which came as a boon in the pandemic, he can look for the office which is not necessarily close to work as most of the companies will continue to have their workforce working remotely in the future as well. Also, the lending rates are historically low from the past year, which can help buyers to save some extra bucks when planning for the new home.
There are numerous lists of reasons that are making the Dallas residents buy the house and thus helping the real estate market to grow and glow in Dallas. We have seen, some of the top fortune 500 companies like McKesson, State farm, AT&T, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Kimberly Clark, GameStop, and
several others are home to Dallas and its Suburbs.
Another reason is tech companies are moving to Dallas in big numbers and making their permanent home. There are several reasons tech companies have been moving to Texas – lower housing costs, lower tax rates, fewer regulations, and diversified culture have made it easier for companies to operate in Texas. There is already an abundance of technical talent all over Texas. Any company moving here can tap into a well-experienced talent pool. There is also a well-educated stream of new talent graduating from top schools like Texas, Rice, University of Houston, and Texas A&M.
Although, Some People are still waiting to see if this upward trend goes down and once an in-person workplace will get mandated, property rates will surely go down. Some residents think there are just a real estate agent bubble and prices will go down and hence holding their horses before taking any big decision to buy a house.
Whatever the numbers are and what expert says, glad to see those happy family faces, who closed their deals and enjoyed the space and liberty of working from home. Yes, at present, the trend is showing that Dallas Market is going to stay red hot due to favored weather conditions, No state tax, diversified community culture, an home to several fortune 500 companies.
