Of the 3 young USA under-19 women cricketers, Snigdha Paul from Dallas TX is one of the players that has been recognized for her game with the ball, or bat in her hand. Being signed into some very dynamic international tournaments, Snigdha put forward pathways for aspiring women and girl cricketers to earn their dreams. She has been signed into TWO leagues, the Caribbean Premier League, and the newly introduced 6ixty league.

Alongside Snigdha Paul, Geetika Kodali Joins her, the USA Under-19 Captain, along with USA Batter Isani Vaghela.

The squads for the upcoming tournaments will feature international women’s cricket superstars, as well as overseas cricketers with tons of experience.

Snigdha Paul will be playing for the Barbados Royals as an Overseas player!

Backing herself in her recent form at the West Indies 2022 Under-19 Women’s Tour, Snigdha impressed with a daunting 4 wickets and an excruciating 2.92 economy rate over the series.

Geetika Kodali has been signed for the Trinbago Knight Riders as an overseas player as well! Leading USA to a very impressive series win, Geetika has her experience to help with the Knight Riders. She has also impressed everyone with her late batting cameos changing the game completely with just one inning.

Isani Vaghela was signed by the Guyana Amazon Warriors!

Already representing the USA national team before, Isani played very responsible innings throughout the series carrying the bat through for the team.

As per the USA Cricket Media release, USA Cricket Board Member and Women and Girls Committee Chair, Nadia T. Gruny remarked: “This is another step in strengthening our partnership with Cricket West Indies in the development of women’s cricket in the region. In this instance, three of our most talented young cricketers will get the opportunity to experience franchise cricket in the Caribbean with CWI’s league partner – the CPL. The performances of Geetika, Snigdha and Isani in the recently concluded series win over the West Indies U19s fill us with great encouragement that all three of them will perform well in St Kitts. Getting to be around, training and playing with some of the best in the women’s game is a huge opportunity and we are very thankful to everyone at CWI and the CPL for their ongoing support.”

Hero CPL CEO Pete Russell said: “We are really pleased with the quality of international signings for the inaugural Massy WCPL and SKYEXCH 6IXTY tournaments and we look forward to welcoming these players in St Kitts for these two exciting competitions.”

A huge Congratulations to Snigdha Paul, Geetika Kodali, and Isani Vaghela for their signings with these teams! Good luck to all of you!

The success of Snigdha proves the famous quote…“Opportunities don’t happen, you create them.”

GO out there Snigdha and make Dallas proud!
